Where your gift goes
- Gifts go to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, the nonprofit that funds the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah.
- Sigma Chi's current pledge, $31 million made in June 2025, creates the Sigma Chi Center for Advanced Therapeutics and Innovation: cancer research and new clinical trials.
- Sigma Chi has fulfilled two earlier pledges to Huntsman: $11 million, and $20 million for women's cancers. Chapters raised over $5 million in 2024–25 alone.
Why we give
Huntsman has been Sigma Chi's partner since 2005 and its sole philanthropic partner since 2012. Its founder, Jon M. Huntsman Sr., was a Sigma Chi.
We believe strongly in the work Huntsman does, both as a national fraternity and as our own chapter.
