52 men founded this chapter in January 2026. There is no thirty-year-old way of doing things here. Committees, events, traditions: the people who join now decide what they look like.
The people are the point.
Engineers, finance guys, designers, pre-med, founders. The common thread is that everyone here chose to build something rather than join the easiest thing available.

Sigma Chi has 240+ chapters and 300K+ initiated brothers since 1855. That is a real alumni network, real training, and real support for a chapter this young.
Standards you can see.
A 3.5+ average GPA across the founding class. A zero-tolerance hazing policy in our bylaws. Officers who face a vote of confidence every semester.

Thirty seconds. We text you the day before each event so you never miss one.
Come to events
Eight events, September 8–30. Show up to as many as you want; the more we see you, the better.
Get to know us
Talk to brothers, ask questions, and keep coming back. As rush goes on, a brother will reach out to you directly.
Interview
A conversation with a few brothers. We want to know who you are, what you're working on, and what you want out of this.
Bid
If both sides want it, you get a bid. Accepting starts Preparation for Brotherhood, our five-week education program, and then initiation.

The Jordan Standard
What we look for
Sigma Chi has used the same standard for a new member since 1855: a man of good character, a fair student, with ambitious purposes, a congenial disposition, good morals, a high sense of honor, and a deep sense of personal responsibility. Here is what that means to us.
Character
You do what you said you'd do, and you own it when you don't.
Ambition
You're working toward something. School, a company, a sport, a craft. We don't care which.
Good company
People like being around you. You make a room better, not louder.
Standards
You're in good academic standing and you plan to stay there.
